About Me

I am Mrs. Pogle, and I am a wife, mother, granny and counsellor in my mid-forties. I work part-time, and spend the rest of the time with my husband and family, aiming to turn a house into a home, or with my three lovely grandchildren: a delightful boy of three, a gorgeous girl of one, and an adorable new grandson born this February. What “spare” time I do have, I like to spend on the internet, exploring my faith amongst other things, and also baking, reading, writing and making cards! You will often find me barefoot in the kitchen!

I am a Catholic convert, who came to the faith in November 2006. My life in the home is gently guided each day by my Holy Mother Mary, who watches over me as I strive to follow her example, and honour her Son’s name in my home. My motto is “Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam”… For the Greater Glory of God! [St. Ignatius of Loyola] as every day I offer all that I do to His glory.

I am so glad you found me! Pull up a chair, and let’s chat over tea and cake!

  1. I spent some time reading through your blog the other day but didn’t have time to post. Thanks for all your insights – it has a very ‘cosy’ feel, as if I am sitting in your kitchen, chatting with you! I will certainly be back.

    Bless you!
